Jonathan’s brother, Mark, started Dreyer’s Restoration to put himself through dental school here in Gainesville, Florida. When Mark graduated, his father, Gene Dreyer, ran it until Jonathan took over the business in 1994. Jonathan quickly realized most restoration companies were not providing quality service and quality restoration experience.

In addition to providing restoration service, Jonathan immersed himself in education. Through the studying of restoration magazines and manuals, and networking with other professionals across the country, he learned everything he could about carpet and fabric cleaning and restoration. As a result, Jonathan began solving the difficult problems of carpet retailers, designers, and homeowners. Most other restoration companies did not know how to solve these problems, so it created a niche for Dreyer’s Carpet Care. Over the years, Jonathan has continued to build the company, adding important certifications and designations along the way.
